Music Inspiration

This is a fantastic piece of music which everytime I listen to gives me loads of inspiration for this type of music being in our film. It is a peice of music which allows your mind to figure out the riddle in a way. This is the type of music i would like in our film.

Update!

We have drafted some new thumbnails, and we have now decided that we are gonig to see the kidnapper drive home, go into his house, sit down and make a drink for himself. He will then look at a missing poster which has been put on his doorstop. This is of the girl. He then walks out in to the garage. As soon as he walks in some fast uptempo, scary music starts. We then see the girl get dragged in to the garage as a flashback. We see the kidnapper standing over her, and burning the missing poster. Then tghe title comes up.

Luke's Evaluation

After filming, we realised that we need to make the film more realistic. We need to take into consideration of what the setting would be like, because it was a last minute decision. We also need to make the make up on our actor more relastic because we found that it wasn't believable. We also have to make sure that the shots are done in a way where we can edit them easily, and not having peices missing because we had to put some transitions in to make the conitinutity work well. We have now decided that we are going to have the kidnapper and be shown as a completely normal guy, having this big secret. The girl hidden in the garage.

This will work more because it has a better narative. We also might show her being dragged in to the garage, so we can give more of a background to the film itself. When re filming we are going to create it with more imaginary shots.

Photos Of Model

Here are some shots which we took of Maddy whilst we were filming the draft of our film opening. We have given her a dirty look to show what she has been through but we are hoping to emphasise this even more in our final opening. We were originally going to use these photos in our opening but for our draft we decided not to do this, however we hope to still include pictures of her in our final film opening and will take more during filming.

The make up on the girl in these pictures looks unprofessional and not realistic. When we come to shooting the final thing we need to make it more realistic looking, as if she ahs been dragged across the floor to be taken into the garage and kidnapped. We plan to do this, by taking off all of the actresses make up off, remove ehr of persoanl items such as her head band, and make the fake blood more realistic looking.

Coursework

We have finished a rough filming of our two minute film opening. We have started editing and have completed the titles to our film, including music and shots of things like the knife and rag etc. During filming we realised that we would have to cut certain elements for the rough draft as when we filmed we were not able to finish the shots of the kidnapper's camera. However, we still hope to incorporate this into our final edit of our opening.
